What becomes public
Publishing makes the fields you enter into your index available to anyone: your name, role, location, experience, projects, skills, links and any contact details or photo you include. A connected Google or LinkedIn profile picture may appear if you do not provide another photo. Your account sign-in email is not automatically published as a contact.
Where it can appear
Your index is accessible as a web page, in the public catalogue, as Markdown, through structured data and via MCP. Search engines, recruiters, automated crawlers and AI systems may retrieve it, including systems collecting material for model training. Public access does not give recipients unlimited legal rights, but CVIndex cannot guarantee how they will use a copy.
Your choice
Publication is optional and requires an affirmative publication confirmation. Creating an account or acknowledging the cookie banner does not constitute that confirmation. Only include information you want to make public and have the right to disclose.
Changing your mind
Edit the profile to change individual fields or remove the index in your account to stop public access through CVIndex. This withdraws your publication consent for future display and does not affect earlier lawful processing. Your account remains. Independent caches, downloads and copies may remain outside CVIndex’s control.
Connected agents
An agent with your personal MCP key can act on your index, including publication, updates and deletion. Authorise only actions you intend and revoke the key when access is no longer needed.
